What is in the pilot
The launch dataset contains a deliberately small set of reviewed ZIP records in Seminole, Orange, Volusia, Lake, Osceola counties. It is not statewide Florida coverage.
How records are checked
Provider names, contact numbers, service descriptions, and links are checked against official provider or government pages. Every provider record has a source and verification date. Automated reports flag missing sources, malformed phones, duplicate records, and stale reviews.
Why results say “possible provider”
ZIP codes are postal areas. Utility territories can follow city limits, infrastructure, franchise areas, cooperative territories, and property-level conditions. Water may come from a city, county, private system, or well. Sewer may be replaced by septic. Internet availability can change between neighboring buildings.
How to use a result
Treat it as a researched starting point. Open the official website or call the listed number and confirm service for the complete street address before opening or transferring an account.
When data is incomplete
MoveIn shows a partial or verification-in-progress status. It does not create a provider record from memory or fill an empty category with a guess.
